In March of 2015, Proficient City assisted again to one of the most famous videogame conferences worldwide: the GDC. Hosted in San Francisco, the GDC is by numbers, the videogame conference with more attendees and the biggest business area. Proficient City assisted for the second time to present the new business model: Game Hollywood. In partnership with other two great companies, we introduced a new system of publishing and developing. Game Hollywood is now able to help developers publish their games worldwide and give them the best marketing tools and results.

2015 has been a successful year for Proficient City, our team published three amazing games that were widely acclaimed in GDC San Francisco: Darkstar Risen, Era of Empire and Portal Hunter. These new games, together with Proficient City’s classic hits like DDTank or Wartune are our company’s presentation to the world.

Game Hollywood also presented its new partnership with Football Club Barcelona for DDTank. After signing a deal with Football Club Barcelona in GDC San Francisco last year, DDTank has been greatly appraised by the online community.

Proficient City had the chance to meet with some of our best partners like Kongregate and VK. And our team also had the opportunity to meet with new and potential partners that will collaborate with us in the future.

Facebook invited Proficient City for our yearly meeting in their headquarters. The partnership between the two companies has been strong since Proficient City’s first game, and we’re extremely glad we get the chance to work with this amazing team.

Google was also a key meeting in San Francisco, a longtime partner of Proficient City and now Game Hollywood.

We were happy to meet for a new important partnership with Twitter. Negotiations with the social network company and Proficient City started way before GDC, but our team was happy to work face to face with Twitter and learn about how to expand our business using their services.
