2014 the Game Hollywood team traveled to Busan to attend G-Star, one of the most important videogame conferences in Asia. Two of our founders (Lu YuanFeng and Huang Deqiang) and two of our top managers spent three days in the city and at the conference.

 We showcased some of our newest and more popular games like Zeus Age, DDTank Mobile, Stallion race, Darkstar Risen and Eternal Fury, which had a very good response both from the Korean and the international markets.

VR is one of our main interest points, so we met up with those working at Oculus to discuss the future of this field. Afterwards, we were ready for future cooperation in the field of virtual reality. Our company has the strong belief that in a few years VR will be a pillar in gaming, just as mobile gaming has become the main market for f2p games quickly overtaking browser.

At G-Star we also met Bigpoint, one of the biggest publishers in Europe, with whom we’ve been talking for a while. It was great to finally meet face to face and get to close a deal we have high hopes for.

 All in all, G-star was a great experience where Asian and Western companies get together and learn from each other.
